Frozen in Time – The Vault

Some stories have no script. Good documentaries don’t craft the story - they follow it, and if lucky, discover it. This one started with a long-locked door, a living witness, and 30 heavy industrial safe cracking, diamond-tip drill bits, creating the weight of anticipation, rather than manufacturing drama that wasn't there.

This short film documents the opening of a Vanderbilt era vault, untouched for decades, bringing together documentary production, archival storytelling, and the rare kind of access that can't be staged.

The Vanderbilt silver, the old photographs, the mementos sitting exactly where they were left. The job was simply to be there and not get in the way of the moment. Stories like this don't come around twice. If you're sitting on one, we'd like to help bring it to life.
