Enter the Elgin

he Canadian Elgin & Winter Garden Theatre is a singular landmark, the last double-decker theatre still operating anywhere in the world. To bring its original form back into focus, we turned to Maya, industry-leading 3D animation software, to reconstruct what the Elgin looked like in 1913. The project spans architectural visualization, cultural heritage, and cinematic animation in three dimensions to reconstruct before time and endless layers of renovation obscured the original grandeur.

The animation was built entirely in Maya, the world’s leading 3D visualization tool allowing precise control over period-accurate architectural detail. Rather than approximating the past, the goal was to render it with conviction, treating the Elgin not as a ruin to mourn but as a space to reinhabit fully. The result is something between a historical document and a cinematic experience.

When a landmark this significant needs to be seen as it once was, the work demands both technical precision and a real sense of storytelling in three dimensions. If you have a heritage project, a cultural institution, or a story worth visualizing, with our unique background in 3D mathematics and world class animation this is the kind of work we're built for.
